What it is
Chronic knee pain limits walking, sleep, and the activities you love. It is rarely 'just arthritis' — most chronic knee pain involves joint mechanics, soft-tissue dysfunction, and inflammation that respond well to conservative care.
Common symptoms
- Aching or sharp pain in or around the knee
- Stiffness after sitting or first thing in the morning
- Pain with stairs, squatting, or kneeling
- Swelling or instability
- Difficulty sleeping due to knee discomfort
What's actually causing it
Most chronic knee pain stems from a mix of joint dysfunction, weak or imbalanced supporting muscles, prior injury, and inflammation — often layered on top of hip or low-back biomechanics that are quietly overloading the knee.
What happens if you ignore it
Untreated knee pain leads to compensation patterns, hip and back problems, deconditioning, and accelerated cartilage wear. Many patients accept it as 'just aging' and slowly lose the activities they love — well before they have to.
What recovery looks like
Most patients see meaningful improvement with a combined program of cold laser, chiropractic, joint mobilization, and targeted rehab.
