Shoulder Pain
Chronic shoulder pain — whether rotator cuff, impingement, frozen shoulder, or referred from the neck — interferes with sleep, work, and nearly every overhead activity.
What it is
Chronic shoulder pain — whether rotator cuff, impingement, frozen shoulder, or referred from the neck — interferes with sleep, work, and nearly every overhead activity.
Common symptoms
- Sharp or aching shoulder pain
- Pain reaching overhead or behind your back
- Pain that wakes you from sleep
- Weakness or 'catching' with movement
- Stiffness that limits your range
What's actually causing it
Most chronic shoulder pain involves a combination of joint dysfunction, rotator-cuff soft-tissue injury, posture, and — very often — neck involvement that radiates into the shoulder.
What happens if you ignore it
Untreated shoulder problems frequently progress to frozen shoulder, chronic tendinopathy, and rotator-cuff tears that require surgical repair. Early conservative care is dramatically more effective than late-stage intervention.
What recovery looks like
Most patients respond well to a combination of cervical and shoulder adjustments, cold laser, soft-tissue work, and targeted rotator-cuff rehab.
