Chronic Fatigue
Chronic fatigue — the kind that doesn't lift after a good night's sleep — is almost always a signal of something correctable: hormone imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic dysregulation, nutrient deficiency, or sleep-disordered breathing.
What it is
Chronic fatigue — the kind that doesn't lift after a good night's sleep — is almost always a signal of something correctable: hormone imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic dysregulation, nutrient deficiency, or sleep-disordered breathing.
Common symptoms
- Exhaustion that doesn't lift with sleep
- Afternoon energy crashes
- Reliance on caffeine just to function
- Brain fog and poor concentration
- Low motivation and irritability
What's actually causing it
Hormone decline, thyroid dysregulation, insulin resistance, chronic stress, poor sleep architecture, and nutrient deficiencies are the most common drivers. 'I'm just getting older' is rarely the real answer.
What happens if you ignore it
Chronic fatigue erodes career, relationships, weight, and mental health. Many patients spend years exhausted before discovering an underlying issue that was straightforward to correct.
What recovery looks like
Most patients see meaningful improvement once we identify and correct the underlying drivers — typically within the first 8–12 weeks of care.
